Pros: | Easy to use, low profile, customizable | Cons: | very low weight/load ratio, big and heavy | | I had this for 3 years now. But I recently decided to sell it after using another ballhead (Sirui K20x) and the main reason is that the K20x is much more compact and lighter and can support 5x times the load. And I want my tripod to be as small (but sturdy and stable) as possible.
The main advantage of the 322RC2 is that it's of course much easier to move around. But a good ballhead is actually not that much more difficult to use and is much easier to use for simple panoramas.
This head is also unique for its customizability. The grip can be moved for a left-hander or put vertically as a more classic joystick. When not using it as an upright joystick it's more stable and can be usable as a regular head.
Another particularity is the use of Manfrotto plates, not compatible with the Arca Swiss style. While the mechanism makes it much faster to use it also provides much less options.
It's a good product but it just doesn't fit my needs anymore. I guess it would be more useful for sport/wildlife shooters although not with big lenses as the max load is very low (11lbs/5kg).
