Pros: | | Cons: | only designed for two Pentax DSLRs (K70, KP) | | I can't give this a rating because I didn't use it. But I did buy it from B&H and I did have it in my possession for a few days before I returned it after realizing that it does not fit my K10D or K-3 II cameras. B&H had advertised that it worked with all Pentax DSLRs, and after confronting them, they removed that wording. It works with KP and K70 cameras only, which is mind-boggling. Why would you have the CS-205 cable switch/release work with all other Pentax DSLRs including the K-1, but not for two specific cameras?! I trust that it works, but I'll never buy a KP or K70 so I'll never know. I wonder if the forthcoming "flagship APS-C" Pentax camera will use this or the CS-205 cable, and if Pentax will even bother to say. The Ricoh/Pentax website doesn't even tell you these things. And the K-1 owner manual doesn't tell you which works, but I understand that it's the CS-205 that works with the K-1, not the CS-310. (I will buy my K-1 new soon and will find out and update this if I'm wrong.). I need these cables for astrophotography at night, where remote controllers are useless. My presumption that it works fine (as my CS-205 does on my K10D and my K-3 II) is why I recommended this (as opposed to not recommending it; if there were an option to do neither, I'd choose that option -- website software specialists please take note ... in fact, I'd suspect that lots of lens reviewers would take the "neutral" option for recommendation if it were offered, as opposed to "yes" or "no").
