Ricoh GR II Firmware v3.00 Released

Ricoh Imaging has just released firmware version 3.00 for the Ricoh GR II.  This feature-enhancing update adds a host of new options, including the ability to fully customize the flash button just like the Fn1/Fn2 buttons.  In addition, Ricoh has added a new electronic level design as well as the option to display exposure information and image magnification in a more convenient way.

All in all, this update takes things to the next level for the GR II— a camera already known for its extensive suite of customization settings.  The new features are described in detail in the addendum to the user manual (PDF).

Since all Pentax/Ricoh firmware updates are cumulative, version 3.00 also includes the new features added in version 2.00, and all bug fixes released to date.
