Reviews

No Pentax site would be complete without in-depth staff reviews of the latest gear.  Below are just a handful of our many reviews.

1. Pentax K-3 In-Depth Review

The Pentax K-3 flagship is an incredibly powerful DSLRs that is now priced very competitively alongside competing models and newer Pentax bodies.  Read our in-depth review to see why this camera (or the nearly identical K-3 II) deserves to have a spot in your bag.

2. DA 16-85mm In-Depth Review

Launched in early 2015, the DA 16-85mm lens is a "prosumer" walkaround lens with premium image quality, weather sealing, and plenty of versatility.

3. DA 18-135mm In-Depth Review

We highly recommend the Pentax 18-135mm over any 18-55mm kit lens.  With silent autofocus, weather sealing, a flexible zoom range, and a beginner-friendly price tag, you really can't go wrong with this lens.

4. Pentax K-50 In-Depth Review

The Pentax K-50 is a highly-capable weather-sealed DSLR.  Despite being packed with advanced features, it's surprisingly user-friendly and it is now selling and record low prices.

5. Pentax K-5 II/IIs In-Depth Review

The Pentax K-5 IIs marked the debut of filterless sensors in Pentax DSLRs.  Many users still enjoy the 16 megapixel sensor and reliable performance of Pentax's previous flagship.
