We have just announced the theme for our official April, 2012 photo contest: it will be "Patterns".  This is yet another open-ended theme, and we hope that you will come up with some creative ideas for this contest!

Voting for our February "Birds" photo contest has just ended, and we are happy to announce the winners!  This time around we saw over 200 submissions, and it was a very difficult task to pick out just three winners.  Therefore, we invite you to browse all of the contest submissions, as they are quite breathtaking!

The theme for our official March, 2012 photo contest has been announced!  It will be "The Wind".  We are looking forward to seeing how you will interpret something that can't be photographed on its own!

Last Wednesday we posted our new photo contest theme, for February: "Birds".  In order to make up for this late announcement of the contest, this month, the winner will receive a $50 B&H Gift Card, and second place will win a pack of 50 sheets of premium photo paper from Red River Paper.  As always, the winning entry will also be featured in our Premier Photo Gallery.

As a reminder, our photo contests are one of the only things on our site that are limited to Pentax users.  If submitting an entry from your archives, please make sure it was taken with a Pentax!

We'd like to kick off our official PentaxForums.com photo contests of 2012 with a theme allowing for a great deal of creativity: Rivers and Lakes.  Feel free to feature one or both of these in your photo, and experiment with reflections, smooth water, frozen water, etc.!

The voting thread for our December "Silver and Gold" photo contest has now also been posted!  We invite everyone to vote for the winner!  Last month, we saw just over 100 submissions.
