Pentax lenses up to 20% off at Adorama

Got an email from Adorama that all Pentax lenses will be up to 20% of starting March 3.

UP to 20% off. Probably 1 lens that's 20% off and the rest are just 5% if that. Sorry for the cynicism, but these "up to x%" discounts are usually not very discounted.

I'm not defending just spreading the news, I have no dog in this hunt. This was supposed to be on the price watch forum, not sure why it ended up here.

Thanks for the heads up Larry! It will be interesting what discounts we see on which lenses.

Hey - after the previous couple years, it's nice to see any discounts at all!

Just for grins I looked and on the first 6 pages all I found was that 4% Cash back thingy they email you that you can't use unless you buy more stuff. Except the DA35/2.4. I think there was a special $35 Off Label or something.

Didn't see anything else.

20% off MAP is where these lenses should be priced all the time. The 20-40 makes much more sense at the $800 price point.

The MAP strategy is starting to work now that these sales actually feels like sales as oppose to be able to find the same items for the sale price regularly.
