ff/ apsc

will a smc d-fa lens work on a k20d apsc sensor. looking to use for macro, looking at the
Pentax smc Pentax-D FA 100mm f/2.8 WR Macro Lens

like i said before the macro i have now wont alow me to get close any more , original camera and lens , were a me super and a vivitar 70-210 macro

What do you mean "won't allow me to get close anymore"? Is it broken? The 70-210 is more a 'close focusing' lens rather than true macro but the close focusing distance should not change on APS-C.
