Super newb question,

When I go to the K3's self timer option, it's only giving me a 2 second option. Could swear there used to be a 12 second option. How can I customize this?

When you go to the K3's self timer option, there are only two options, a 2 second option and a second without any given time.
The twelve second option is the second option.

if you select the one that doesn't say 2, it actually says 12 seconds in the extended description.

Seems like there should be one in between, but I guess it's 2 seconds to avoid camera shake, 12 seconds to give you time to run and get in the picture yourself.

Another option would be to use the interval shooting mode and set it to take shots at user-selectable intervals for the number of shots you want.
