DA* 50-135mm you beauty

Edge to edge sharpness, good rendering, AW, AF seemed fast enough too

Just been to an air show... there was the odd moment where something marginally longer might of helped (but that was <5% of the time)... Only took the 50-135 and got all the shots I wanted

What a beast this is... when the rain came, the K-5iis and 50-135mm stayed out much to the bewilderment of some

Nice to hear. You should post some pics of the results.
I checked out an airshow on Friday as well but I was positioned on the outside of the airport to keep the sun at my back so I needed a longer lens. Will post some pics this evening.

I love mine! I still haven't owned a lens that renders nicer colors. I have owned somewhat sharper but sharpness isn't the be all and end all for me. If the 16-50 tickled me like the 50-135 does I might have kept it.

Yea, the 16-50 doesn't quite have the pixie dust of the 50-135, but if you have a great sharp copy like I do I find it more than enough for my needs. And if you've ever seen any of the PIC's taken by Rondec with this lens you would be more than impressed.

I have seen his pics, they are a good chunk of the reason I bought mine. But It just didn't give me the warm fuzzies that my precious gives me

This lens stays on my K-3 70% of the time - I just love the pixie dust this lens demonstrates
