Does anyone know why the DA 15mm and DA 21mm lenses are incompatible with this converter. The warning explicitly bans the combinations. Just a point of information. Please, no smart comments.

I believe it's because the rear element of those lenses would come into contact with the TC, or otherwise be too close.

That's what I understand. I actually mounted my 15 and used it before I knew that. No damage done but I wonder what could have happened.

My understanding of teleconverters and wide angle lenses is that TCs are optically incompatible with wide angle lenses in general. Whether it will damage the TC or lens or not, the IQ will be poor. Going back to film days in the 70s and 80s the advice was don't use a TC with anything under 50mm.
