So I received an "Excellent +++" FA* 300mm f/4.5 lens on eBay from Japan and it won't AF with my K-3. Yes it is set to the "A" aperture mode. The strange thing is that it will focus confirm with a beep. Is this lens broken? Can it be repaired? Should I send it back?

push-pull AF/MF clutch on the lens -- move the whole focus ring forward/back to other position...

I absolutely LOVE how small and light this lens is!
It looks like it is going to pair well with my DA* 60-250mm and DA 16-45mm, all of which use 67mm filters.

Just verified that mated to the HD 1.4x teleconverter it reports the proper 420mm focal length in the EXIF.
