Never said anything of the sort, Dan. Actually, my comment was that I
doubted those individuals would know the things Steve wrote. I then asked whether those individuals had specifically said those things. And my doubts are not based on just speculation or guesswork. Instead, they're based on my knowledge of the industry derived from working directly as a marketing rep, marketing manager, or regional sales manager, here in Europe for several Japanese manufacturers (including Pentax as a marketing rep years ago). Regardless, even with that, I did not say what the head of Pentax France did or did not know. Instead, I simply expressed sincere doubts and asked.
