Help & tips filming with a K-r

When im using my K-r to film (motor racing & in car, the camera is auto adjusting the light, so it goes from light to dark.

How do i stop this from happening?

& if anyone has any good tips filming with a dslr camera.

what mode is it metering light in currently? not sure if movie has spot, center or average weight.....

yes..... ((o)) what I call average........ (o) what I call center......... o what I call spot............... having it on ((o)) average shouldn't be so sensitive where as o 'spot' will be
if that makes any sense......... try average ((o))

Ye i understand, i have tried it on both setting but still alters the light & dark.

I'll have a tweak & take some photos & videos in each AE setting.

I have Kr and the way I keep the exposure constant is use the AE lock button. By default the button is set up auto focus but you easily change it in the menu to AE lock. It's the first menu the one with the camera icon.
