Just sold my Pentax (AA) K-r but now...

Yep just having to celebrate.
Sold my AA K-r with three lenses on Saturday 23 July 2016 and now we have our previous White K-r that I gave to my Grand Daughter who I find out only uses the iPhone for Pics.

So as much as my (AA) K-r was sold to buy the Samsung NX2000 (with Lens) we are now back in the fold wit Pentax again too.

Sounds like my kids. My granddaughter only uses her phone to take photos. And my daughter too but is leaning toward getting a better camera.....I'm still debating which one she'll get for her birthday next month. I have three to choose from.

You don't use the Li-109 on the K-r? Why not?

That's the Li-ion battery that one can use instead of AAs and holder.

I was going to answer you and give you this link, looks like Jim got you though. It's same batter you can use in the newer K-30 and K-50 cameras too:

I had bought 2 K-r Cameras and gave the white with the Li-on Battey and ket the Black one with only 700 Actuations. This has served me well. Yet thought it was/is time to explore other options like the Samsung NX again.
That being said I Know just Know this jopurney is finally coming to an end. With ONE final camera - even maybe saying ByrBye to both the present K-r & NX2000

Will just have to see where my dreams & contemplations lead me in this regard.
