Were you at Paynes Prairie? Nice GBH shot.

Thanks Susan, yes it is Paynes Prarie Preserve. It was the La Chua Trail. Saw hundreds of alligators, wild bison and wild horses.

Nice photos, I especially like the last one with the gators all lined up.
I grew up in central Florida, thanks for letting me revisit.

Thanks for the comments Bob,Barry and Tamia.
Yep I did use the long end of the lens on the alligators lined up. The sleepy gator was down an embankment about 20 feet away.

If you live in the south, you find out that a "sleeping 'gator" can "wake up" fast!

I miss the photo opportunities of Fl. Snakes, frogs, snakes, gators, snakes, birds, snakes, and snakes.

Boy am I glad I live in a place without gators.... I like water I can swim in. Big Northern Pike with all those teeth make me nervous. Thanks for sharing the photos.
