I drive over the same patch of dead leaves in my yard everyday on my way to work. I figured I might as well use it as an interesting background. I had a gelled manfrotto LED light low to the ground on a gorilla pod off to the left which was also the direction of the sun that helped brighten up the ball a bit while accentuating the shadows being cast. I tweaked it a bit in Lightroom but I had a fairly solid foundation to work from. As always feedback is appreciated.

Nice shot. Personally I prefer the color. But both are class. I think the color says late autumn, when the season is over for all but two teams.
