I love that McClaren 12C. It looks like a million bucks and I understand it costs about a million bucks too.

Hey Tom - thanks. Yeah, I told 'em to send you one - you'll get the invoice soon!

Sounds like a plan to me, Kyle. Thanks for looking.

Hey, Steve - thanks much. I've never driven an early 911, but from what I've read, they could really be a handful for the unsuspecting. In '70 or '71, I drove a slightly-used 912, which felt balanced and agile (especially compared with my '69 Mach I), but I think it was about 200 lbs lighter than the 911 and - with the small, lighter 4 cylinder positioned a bit further forward than the 6 in the 911, had a better weight distribution.

Originally posted by Bob Harris all very nice rides, I always wanted a 911 but seemed like I bought other stuff if you know what I mean. Nice shots buddy, i'll bet you had a fun day.
Thanks much, brother Bob. We did have a fun day and . . . . . . . I know just what you mean: there are two or three cars I'd love to own (including a 'Vette) that I've somehow missed along the way.

Oh Yeah - it seems as if half the kids in the county are driving these things, and at MSR that day they were like flies at a picnic: everywhere.
