A young dragonfly
Lens: Super Macro Takumar 100 Camera: K5 Photo Location: Poland ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/2s Aperture: F11

Hello,

Today someting different than the jumping spiders, and easier to photograph i think. Its a very young Gomphus vulgatissimus, right after the transformation.

An amazing shot indeed !! The clarity is phenomenal - light looks so natural and undisturbed - simple superb shot !! Also the focal place is just perfectly positioned so that the whole profile of the subject is sharp and well defined. I am in envy .. not for the shot so much as for the time you got on your hands :P and those amazing species that you can photograph there. Great job !

I found few places where dragonflies and damselflies transform into imagos. Have lots of pictures of such kind, will show you the best of them soon
