Macro shots with Vivitar 28mm F2.8 mc
Lens: Vivitar 28mm F2.8 MC Close Focus Camera: Pentax K200D Photo Location: Finland

Here are pics from yeasterday. These are taken with K200D and Vivitar 28mm F2.8 MC Close Focus.
I bought Vivitar for 25€ and I'm really impressed with this lens.

Very nice shots. The new lens seems to have great possibilities. I would seem as if many Vivitar lenses are going through a renaissance period, and rightfully so.

Yes this lens is awesome. Sharpness and bokeh are fabulous.
Atleast for me because I haven't used any other than 18-55 kit and 55-300 lenses.

What would be the reason for that when these pics are posted here they seem to lose lots of sharpness compared to the original file?

They seem to be very sharp on my monitor. Perhaps they loose some sharpness in the uploading and/or downloading?

They are being resized by your browser.

They'll look better if you resize them prior to uploading, no bigger than 1024 pixels on the longest dimension.
