This Red-browed Finch was having a bath. I considered cropping tighter, but I love the 3D effect. The bird just pops out of the image!

I'll post some pics of the bird actually splashing in the water.

Thanks everyone! The second one is definitely the favourite with most people; I cropped it to focus more on the bird and the water splashing. You really need to see the first one full frame in HD to see what I mean about how the DOF isolates the bird. I love the DA*300!

Thanks Dave! Although - I confess that there's about another ten frames I haven't posted. I only deleted a couple of them though; I wanted to catch the splash if I could! I've made a video clip of the sequence, but I need to find some music to go with it.
