This is the head of a nail , measuring some .265 on an inch , or 6.73mm measured horizontally ...
What is that insect , besides being really small , I don't know .

Hmmmm , looks a little like a planthopper nymph , but not really . ( Unless its an Australian variety ) .. All the pictures on google images are in such poor focus , but none look like this !

Wow! Almost missed this thread, glad I didn't! Look at that thing, extreme macro indeed, and so sharp, with good DoF. you really know your stuff

Lens stacking was the next logical step from 1:1 Macro
