Interesting scene. It reminds me of ancient earth works, like a ring- ditch that might have ben constructed around a prehistoric settlement.

I thought they were still al the rage with the highland picts. I would like Neill Oliver's opinion on both questions though.

Miniature valley, with nice bright/dark contrasts. Good eye noticing this, and good skill capturing it on photo! This kind of light can be very difficult to capture well

The colors turned out great, I think. It's hard to get good pictures in the winter but you did well.

Good colours despite the fact this picrure has areas both in shadow and sunlit areas.

Strange indeed, that dark area at the far end I would be wary of.
