Steam Locomotive 425 RBMN

The Reading & Blue Mountain Northern break out the steam locomotives for their annual autumn excursion.
All three shots taken by the Port Clinton Station.

Wow! Those are beautiful!! I cannot pick a favorite between 2 or 3, but leaning towards #3!

That would make such a beautiful framed enlargement for a railroad buff!

Really nice shots. All the detail along with the conductor make number 3 my favorite!

Number 3 for me! Great shots. I can remember steam locomotives when I was a kid. Sheez.... am I THAT old?

Absolutely wonderful images of trains. I love all of them but the third one would be my favorite if someone made me chose. Or maybe it would be the second one, or the first. Oh heck, I give up. Great job.

I agree, there's nothing like hearing and watching these locomotives! I go up to Port Clinton every year just to take photos and chase the train around the area!

To be honest, I really don't know. For whatever reason the EXIF of the original photo doesn't spell it out. Thanks for taking a look!

I think I detect a bit of the 3-D effect in #3 that we all seem to love. Maybe it's the extremely sharp focus on the front of the locomotive, but it's a very nice, added effect to an already fantastic shot.
