I will remember January 2015 as the month I "chased" this eagle around the park. Took a walk with my daughter around the lake today (no camera)... this eagle flies right over our heads, about 20 feet up. Very cool. He lands on the ice, I run home for the camera and return 10 minutes later... as soon as I set up he takes off! And he did that to me an hour later too. A friendly passerby asking if I got any good shots, pointed out to me that he was " there for a long time", thanks! I only needed 10 more seconds though. Anyway, I took about 10 of him flying around and away and am very happy with this one.

I'm always amazed when zooming in on any raptor to see them looking straight at me. I know they're watching, of course, but that 'what are you looking at, bub' expression (if you can call it that) is always cool to see.
