Forbidden Photography (a bridge)

As far as I can tell the photo isn't actually prohibited, despite the sign. I've verified this with the bridge police's equivalent of internal affairs. There's no law regarding cameras but you do have to obey all posted signs while on property under MTA (a State agency) jurisdiction. The park where I was standing is New York City not MTA property.

In other words, the only people subject to that sign are in cars on top of the bridge (Superman with x-ray vision to see through the road?) or climbing the concrete support (Spiderman?).
