Spanish Doves Got Crossways!
Lens: Bigma 50-500 Camera: K5IIs Photo Location: Woods of Otis -Texas ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/200s Aperture: F6.7

Love to shoot these guys, they are so contrasty!

The K5IIs gives the best exposure of any Pentax I have owned. Even in very bright Texas sun today, it got me the shots!

Regards!

It's as if they are made of platelets of clay. Very sharp and detailed.

I've never seen that species Rupert. Interesting markings. Lots of great detail too. TFS.

Eaglem.....That is the best description I have ever heard! I will use it in the future.....Thanks!

Thanks Susan, Tina! I am really loving this new K5IIs, it is wonderful! It has restored my confidence in Pentax. Fast focus, even in near total darkness, very accurate, great WB and color....what a camera!

Regards!

That first image looks like one of those "push-me—pull-you" characters from Dr Dolittle.
