The Great Bustard (Sony A7R + SMC Takumar 67 300mm f/4 wide open)

The Great Bustard shot with full frame Sony A7R and SMC Takumar 67 (medium format) 300mm f/4 wide open.

Had a wonderful shoot with this big and heavy lens in the local Zoo....

A great shot of an incredible looking bird. It looks like it's actually posing for the camera. ;-)

Looks like a cross between a duck, chicken, pigeon, and turkey..... turpidgucken...

I've never seen a bird quite like this and at first I thought you misspelled Bustard. The detail in the photograph is excellent and the bokeh background quite pleasing to the eye. Well done.
