Originally posted by PJ1 You've done it again, Bob. Thirty years ago I got myself to the University of Arizona on a scholarship. Practical considerations had me studying management. But my first love was prehistory and I was out in the Anasazi country/Navajo lands at every opportunity. These shots bring back the feeling. Probably the most intense feeling I ever had was standing in the Great Kiva in Chaco Canyon at sunset. You could feel the presence of the ancients there. Enjoy your stay.
Walking around some of the ruins we found painted pieces of pottery, to think they were 1000 years old it was quite a find. Chaco Canyon is a very special place and I know what you mean about that "feeling".

It's quite a feeling to sit out at night Jer, makes me wonder what it must of been like years back.

Nicely done, Bob!

Interesting shots!
I was amazed that I got a signal for my wifi out in this area but it did take about 5 minutes to load the photos. Forget about cell service though. Thanks for the comments.
