First pic with new camera
Lens: 18-55 Camera: K3 Photo Location: Leicester
Posted By: Peter Nutkins, 06-02-2015, 08:50 AM

My first post (my daughter) with my new Pentax camera. I have converted to Pentax after my complete Canon kit was stolen in a burglary. Really impressed by the colours and overall feel - even with this kit lens!

You are no doubt pleased with this, what's the daughter saying to it all.

Sorry about your Canon but you made the right choice. BTW, you daughter is beautiful. Look at those eyes, the smile, the hair and the million dollar freckles.

Thank you so much for the comments. Sadly she is not a willing model and this was taken under sufferance!

My kids used to start groaning as soon as they saw the camera. "Oh dad, not again, how long is this going to take?" Ingrates.

Very nice... love the freckles.

Sounds like we have the same problem normhead. When my four were young it was getting them all to look in the same direction - solved by a squeaky toy. Not so easy now...!

Expensive image, remember he said there were four daughters... they'll expect each to get that.

They're women, he'd be getting off easy.

I can't believe what we've done to this guy's thread. I hope he enjoyed it.

Great pic, welcome to Pentax. My kids....both in their 20's...were never crazy about dear old dad taking their pix. In fact they used to refer to me as 'Papa...razzi'.
