This will be the last post from our vacation in the Smokies. These are just a variety of photos -- mostly of my kids, so some may want to skip them.
We went to Dollywood one day. It is a fine place to take kids, but I would have rather been out in the Park.
The Dollywood Express is a coal fired train. We got on it and then they had us all get off because there was a chance of thunder storms and I guess they didn't want us to get struck by lightning.
Elliot got a balloon at the restaurant we ate at for lunch.
Vince on the Merry Go Round.
A cell phone made out of Play Doh.
Sisters.
Lost an Arm
On the way home, we stopped at the Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill just south of Lexington, KY. I would definitely recommend it as a place to go just to soak in the atmosphere and the peace and quiet.
It was a good trip and the kids enjoyed it a lot. Hopefully we can go back some time in the future and spend a little more time on the trails and a little less in the hubbub of Pigeon Forge. Thanks for looking at the photos.
