. There were about 6 Rainbow Lorikeets in this tree. The bird on the right was pushing all the others about and behaving quite aggressively.

That's not the look of love for sure. Good job grabbing those exotics. Are they quite skittish?

Thanks for commenting. They are very skittish, always squabbling over something, food most likely.

Nice. We have had small flocks of them here in Melton, Victoria for a few years now. I think they may have escaped pets. They seem to be doing quite well and look to be growing in number.

Bruce, we would have about 30 visit our house daily along with about two hundred in the immediate area.

You are blessed with plenty of willing models.. Some of our neighbours have flowering eucalypts, they congregate around that at certain times. I am considering planting some myself.
