Nature Theres a storm brewing

After what seemed like the hottest day of the year yesterday, predictably there was a storm. Never tried to photo lightning before but I thought I'd have a go, basically made it up as I went along.
Set the camera on a tripod, opened up the window nice and wide and used a remote in bulb mode.

That's something I have tried a few times and never succeeded at capturing a flash. Well done.

Bruce, it was a ridiculously active storm, strikes every few seconds! All above the cloud line though, this was the tail end of it.
