Gorgeous Sunrise Colours at Deep Cove
Lens: SMC Pentax K 35mm f/3.5 Camera: K20D Photo Location: North Vancouver, B.C. ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1s Aperture: F8

We had gorgeous sunrise colours at Deep Cove today. Exposed for the sky at 1 sec and then adjusted for shadows. No tweaks were done to the colours.

Very nice. I might try knocking highlights down a bit though.

I agree, the colors are gorgeous, and I very much like the layered look of the hills.

Thanks wtlwdwgan. I like getting feedback that hones my pp skill. I worked on bringing down the highlights and posted the revised photo in my album Dawn at Deep Cove, North Vancouver (SMCP K 35/3.5... - chmance's Album: Scenery - PentaxForums.com.

Thanks for your encouraging words. I actually thought not posting this because this type of scene has been done countless times. But I guess classic never goes out of style.
