Due to Tree line on property I had to drive alongside the road till I came to an open area and shoot from car window. Ok for hand held on window steadied with bean bag between camera and half rolled window.

Superb shot. At least you had a stable platform, 4 legs/wheels on the ground.

First there were clouds totally covering the sky, and I figured they weren't going away before sunset, and so I ditched my moon shot plans, and then the clouds did start going away so I had to make a mad rush to find a spot to get a shot. So I ended up on the side of a farm road outside of town, fortunately out of view of the power plant, sheesh. So I am in the dark, alone, on the side of the road, with the window half rolled down, a bean bag, and a long black barrel sticking out of the Jeep window. I half expected someone to call in a suspicious vehicle with every passing car. lol. Here are a couple more shots, The second one shows the evil looking cloud that covered the moon at one point. Does anyone know what tone these photos are supposed to be? black and white?

I should have, and thus perpetuated the myth! Mom and my friends would have believed me!
