Shots from the Smithsonian National Zoo
Lens: Bigma Camera: K3 Photo Location: Washington, DC
Posted By: GvilleRick, 08-04-2015, 04:56 PM

We took our granddaughter to the National Zoo this past week. I decided to take the K3 with the Bigma mounted.

Bao Bao the panda cub has grown since we saw her last year.

The bird house was one of our favorite areas. This Macaw is about 30 years old.

Caught this cow egret as he flew across the enclosure.

This little guy was very loud.

Some very nice results. I think zoos can be great places to learn some animal behavior and long lens technique.
