Wedding in Venice
Lens: FA 1.8/77 limited Camera: K3
Posted By: volley, 10-05-2015, 04:11 AM

I spent a few days in Venice for a photography workshop and I'll post some shots in the next days.
But it was surprising to see several Chinese couple who obviously celebrated their wedding in Venice. Very romantic:-)
And all of them seemed to have a dedicated photographer flown in ... well, this one seemed not too happy that I captured this scene near the Canale Grande.

I wouldn't be so sure on that... I've papped a few in my time.

Certainly would like to see and hear more about you time in Venice... as it's number one place on my favourite world city list.

Looks like somebody let something go. Look at that lady with the blue jacket. She smells something really bad...

Forgot that you are the resident expert Paparazzo
And about Venice: as you will know it is a very small city and although you have so many tourists visiting you can walk just a few minutes away from the main tourist attractions and seem to be in a completely different world. I liked it a lot and will post some more shots soon.

Sometimes it is not really "fresh water" in the canals

Aye those wee streets where you can hear the echo of your own footsteps, just superb.

The light is really special and this was one of the reasons to go there. But the main idea was to meet some old friends (all from Poland) again, enjoy shooting together and improve composition skills. The workshop was led by Piotr Ciesla, a polish landscape photographer.

Sewerage, stagnant water and Venice canals are a complex subject, Fries!
