Island long exposures and one extra
Lens: DA*16-50 Camera: K-3 Photo Location: Ameland, Vlieland ISO: 100
Posted By: Fries, 10-05-2015, 02:49 PM

*Went on two trips camping out on two of the five island between the wadden sea en the north sea of the Dutch coast. Spent my day's being lazy and taking the occasional photo.

Cheers,

Remco

1. Stargazing from the camping ground (my longest exposure ever...)

2. Moon&Lighthouse light over Vlieland. (There are elements in this photo that definitely didn't work out the way I wanted, but stil I kind of like it)

3. A beach scene

4. Bad weather on the island of Ameland (normal exposure)

That is an interesting collection Remco! Looks like you had a good time.
B&W works very well and the 3rd shot is just wonderful!

Very expansive mood in each of these, and very fine BW conversion work. #2 would be my favorite, if it weren't for that little bit of blur in the lower left corner - was that windblown plants?

Thank you and yes those where windblown plants. I only occurred to me later to take a shorter testshot to nail the composition as it was to dark to see it otherwise. Thats how the plants ended up in the frame...
