Body Parts

Last Saturday we attended a small Concours organized by local region of the Porsche Club of America. Here are a few detail shots that I grabbed as we ogled the cars on a cloudless October day. For the first time in months (if not years), I took my DA 21 rather than my "go to" wide angle, a DA 15, and I really enjoyed being "reunited" with the 21.

She's voluptuous, indeed . . . . . . and - as usually is the case in such situations - she belongs to someone else.

Nice shots....but Otis was so disappointed. He was all ready to hand out his Otis Seal of Approval, and left saying something very bad in squirrel.....that I won't translate!

Regards!

Thanks, my friend.

I'm saddened by Otis' disappointment and certainly had no intention of irritating him. But . . . . . it's my own fault; the local squirrels that command the live oak in our back yard warned me that squirrels in your neck of the woods don't particularly appreciate irony. I didn't listen.

He'll get over it Jer....It's just that he takes his job here as "PF art critic" so seriously. You post a few naked girls and he can spend days with the prints up in his big oak tree penthouse doing his professional critique.

Apparently, he does not have the same dedication to naked cars?

Regards!

Sounds like Otis has priorities properly positioned.

Thanks much. It was your wonderful photo of the Fuchs wheel that made me decide to do some photography at the concours last week. Since I'm a Porsche owner, I've attended and photographed a number of local PCA shows over the last few years, so - to be honest - I have way more photos of various Porsches than I need. Still, I enjoyed shooting some more, particularly since I exercised my DA 21 for the first time in a while.

I think so too, EM. I enjoyed taking these photos, for sure.
