Abstract Moon at 1000mm

Last summer I made an extremely self-indulgent purchase, a 1000mm f8 Pentax lens. But I haven't been able to work out much time to use it.

Last night we had a beautiful moon and I hauled the Black Dragon out.

It may not be the best lens I own, but it's the most fun.

The exposure must have been a little too long which accounts for the blur. Remember that the earth and moon are moving while you are taking the shot !
