I'm still dragging it around trying to get the angles good, but it is so freakin' heavy. No hernia yet, and, it might be done.

That lens with the TC is absolutely stunning! Such great photos!

Thanks for posting a picture of your blind also; I'm planning on a smaller one for my backyard!

Thanks... I put a 1x 6 about 12 feet long and put a fir tree on the front edge.... that's what the Grosbeaks and Jays are on.... it's over 12 feet long, the bigger birds like the long flat surface. That way, the most aggressive bird can't run off the others. The aging feeders are for the smaller birds.

A very nice birdie setup!

Years ago, I found a beautiful twisted old tree trunk, and brought it here, & set it up in cement. I hang suet, etc. off of it. I then have several other feeders hanging on several fir trees around it. Also provide water for the birds year around. I'm sad that I don't get those beautiful blue jays; they are so beautiful!

The river that never freezes (Madawaska ) is just down the hill from us, and they can fly, so I don't do water.

I haven't got them all yet... but, I tend to think the opposite. So far the year it's been all Blue Jays and Chickadees with the occasional White breast Nuthatch. I haven't seen him for a few days , the Redbreasted Nuthatches haven't turned up yet. The gold finches are out there but no photos, and the Downey Woodpeckers haven't turned up. The treat today was the Evening Grosbeaks. They don't come often. So really, a total of maybe 10 species, altogether. Having been here 6 years . and seeing these same 10 some every year, so less often, it's been a long time since I saw something different.

Summer, -, White Throated , American Tree and Song Sparrows, Phoebes, Yellow Rumped Warblers, , Robins, Wood Thrushes, Crows, Ravens,
Winter
Blue Jays, Chickadees, White and Red Breasted, Nut hatches, Evening, Rosebreasted and Pine Gross Beaks, Redpolls, Gold Finches, Purple Finches, Pine Siskins, Hairy and Downey Woodpeckers

Spring and summer passing through, Fox Sparrows, Grackles, Starlings, Red Wing Black Birds, Junkos..

Hmmm 28, I guess that's a little more than 10. You don't know until you count... I wonder if I forgot any. Turkey vultures, wild turkeys, two types of owls, at least 5 types of hawks and eagle and northern shrikes we see infrequently, as well as herons, King Fishers, Mergansers and Loons and two kinds of ducks, mallard and Mergansers on the river in front to the house.

You're right, we see lots of birds. I should try putting everything we have into a post, except it would be a very long post.
