Not Quite Magritte
Lens: HD 55-300mm Camera: K-50 Photo Location: home ISO: 5000 Shutter Speed: 1/15s Aperture: F4.5

I've always liked the bizarre nature of Magritte paintings, with something obscuring the central figure. Duncan was sitting behind the chair but still watching me through the slats - so I shot him.

88mm taken normally, then zoomed+cropped in-camera to square. On the computer it was warmed up a bit & desaturated slightly. I also boosted the EV for his dark face so contrast is lost. I might need to re-crop this tighter for a better effect..

If he can't see you, you can't see him but he can so he still is. Not enough coffee yet.
