Still trying to develop my own voice and style when shooting street. I spend about 20-30 hours a week on the street and god knows how many more hours on the web looking at pictures. Its been 18 months since I've devoted myself to making only street photographs. The 5d collecting dust. Strobes and light stands sold or given away to friends. Maybe I'm taking this too seriously, maybe not seriously enough. Alex Webb told my that it takes 10,000 hours or about 10 years for an artist to find their voice. Just 8 and half more years to go. I'm cool with that.

Really amusing insight in what's happening in your streets. Although it is unfortunate that there is a building in the background of that dove in the last shot I do adore the randomness of catching a bird in flight in the street. The young kid and mother is a strong one too.

Thanks for the feed back. Pigeons have been a new obsession of mine. i'm constantly trying to catch one in mid flight some how interacting or connecting with a person.
