Lichen, Xanthoria parietina?
Lens: Miranda 24mm macro Camera: Pentax K30 Photo Location: Norway Aperture: F2.8

One more shot from today's trip. Many of you know this, but anyway: Lichen is a symbiosis between a fungus and an alga. And the alga of course produce the carbohydrates via photosynthesis.

I didn't... but I do now, I guess it's just never come up in conversation in my circle of folk, an interesting shot too.

Exactly. As a child I had to learn by rote the multiplication table and various religious hymns, and It was very effective.
