Mama bear and her cub were having a good time in Yellowstone NP today. Not entirely happy with these but I hope you enjoy them.

Must have been a great sight! I wish we saw one when we were there.
I don't know what the cub has done, but I think it can consider itself grounded!

Great series Steve! Reminds me of a time when I was a youngster & thought I could also outrun my mother!

Thank you. Yep, they were having a great old time. Amazingly I didn't even have to crowd my way in to get my shots.

Don't look so good for the cub... he got caught and then given a good talking too no doubt.

I don't know... sometimes technical perfection isn't everything. These definitely tell a great story, and I would LOVE to see a mama bear with her cub in the wild!

I guess Yellowstone would be the place for that. We are visiting Sweden this summer, Värmland, where bears suppoedly exist, but they are terribly few and very shy of humans.

Congratulations! Must have been a great experience!

Thanks! It's fun to see wild animals interact with each other.
