Birds in the city
Lens: D FA 150-450 ED DC AW Camera: K!

Walking around the CBD today. Realy like the K1 and the 150-450. I have no problems handholding the combination, it is just a bit big when you put it on the table to have a coffee.

I should have such problems. Nice series of city birds.

Never seen a bird like number 2 in a city before, what city did you find it?

Thanks eaglem, It was very overcast and dull yesterday and dare I say it cold (for us that is, about 6 degrees C at this time of the morning, with just enough breeze to make you wish you had another layer of clothing). I like the way the combination renders detail and colour.

Thanks PJV, Appreciate your comments.

Had the dickens of a time getting to places where some portion of the birds were not obscured by twigs, leaves or branches.Quite a lot of the parrots and many, many, many sparrows feasting on the seeds

As lifes partner would describe it - alarge camera is a first world problem.

Thanks for the comments, Susan, I am sure there will be more to come as I spend a fair proportion of the week wandering the CBD waiting for Maj.

The bird is a red rumped parrot, the city is Bendigo, which is in Victoria in the south eastern portion of Australia.
