Noisy miner washing
Lens: DA* 60-250 f4 Camera: K3 Photo Location: Bendigo, Victoria

Another ever more frustrating not quite moving bird photograph.
I saw this bird diving into the local reservoir, ran 100 metres and managed to settle before the bird left. Then I discovered that, somehow, in my haste, I had set the camera for multiple exposures.
Fortunately the bird sat through all my faffing about and dived one more time.
So, out of breath and handheld, this is what I ended up with.

They are bird which has benefited from all the clearing of land for suburban living. Apparently very aggressive and able to drive other smaller birds out of an area.
This was the first time that I had seen one bathing??

It's a noisy miner bird... Like a little honey eater

They're definitely adaptable, that's for sure! I didn't know they bathed like that either!
