war memorial long exposure
Lens: Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 Camera: Pentax K3 Photo Location: henham, essex ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: Above 6s Aperture: F6.3

on the 100th anniversary of the start of the Battle of the Somme it seems appropriate to post this image.

Even in our small village, 3 of the names on the memorial were killed in the Battle including one who was killed on the first day of the slaughter...

A fitting poignant reminder indeed, I like particularly like the captured flag motion in the image, well done indeed.
