Really like the house finch. He looks old. I like how you can see the coloring differences in the feathers and a great pose.
Next time get him to squinch. You got him to extend his beakline though.

Beautiful photos Heinrich! You have a great backyard for our feathered friends. I especially like the juvenile crow; black is such a difficult color for photography, and yours is excellent +.

Nice series.

Your crow is quite distinct from what we call a commonly crow in Australia. The Aussie crow is probably larger has a longer beak. It is more correctly called an Australian Raven. Great to see the differences in species.

Enjoyed this series very much. At one time considered buying the 55-300 then decided against it. I may have to reconsider.
