Gulf Fritillary

No tripod. ISO 1600 gave me a shutter speed of 1/1500 and with shake reduction on gave me a good handheld shot.

No, it seems fine. I think it's better than my K-5 at higher ISO's.

Only way to fix my noisy photos at ISO800 is process with nik collection Dfine. And then photos aren't sharp. Perhaps your shooting conditions are different from mine.
