The depth of trees
Lens: DA50 1.8 Camera: K50 ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/160s Aperture: F1.8

An experiment using the DA50 wide open so that the trees in the second row, so to speak, are soft and become the background I tried using a smaller aperture but then it looks like a photo of rows of trees and loses the sense of mystery that forests have for me.

That's an educational shot--you're right about the DOF adding a lot interest, but the spectacular lighting doesn't hurt, either.
